Mark  your calendars for the third annual Ride for the Arts Gran Fondo and get ready to ride for $2000 in cash prizes!

“Ride for the Arts” is a charity bicycle ride that benefits the Marion Cultural Alliance, supporting the arts in Ocala/Marion County, Florida and this year the ride has a competitive element to the Gran Fondo that pays over $2000 in cash and prizes! 

With routes from 15 to 75 miles of challenging and beautiful rolling hills filled with huge live oak trees covered with Spanish moss and majestic horse farms in to more than 500 cyclists, all leaving from MCA Brick City Center for the Arts, then heading out throughout the amazing horse farms and hills.

The Gran Fondo features three timed segments and over $2,000 in cash & prizes distributed across the top ten places, men and women.  MCA will host a Vendor Village, lunch, massages, art, and entertainment at its home, Brick City Center for the Arts, in historic downtown Ocala. There’s a Friday night packet pick-up party, and on Saturday, police escorts, SAG stops stocked with snacks and mechanical support. Additionally, lunch, Tee shirts and custom designed kits are available for purchase.

The goal of this event is to raise funds to promote and support art in Ocala / Marion County, Florida. The secondary goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle and enjoyment of cycling.
